Introduction
Château Fombrauge, Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion, welcomes you in a unique setting.
You will discover the history of this old Carthusian monastery, and will come into a trip back in time, to find the elegance and authenticity of another era. Between vines and cellars, passing by the vat- house, the techniques and secrets of winemaking the Grand Cru Classé will have no more secrets for you.
The visit will end with a comparative tasting of 4 wines from 4 different « terroirs », including Château Fombrauge, Grand Cru Classé Saint-Émilion. An aroma game will be proposed in order to identify, memorize and associate aromas with wines.
