Introduction
 The past :
The visit begins with the discovery of the barrel cellar. Since 2019, these cellars have been refurbished by the architect Fabien Pédelaborde with a vaulted ceiling, covered with a gigantic fresco retracing the entire history of the Médoc since the 8th century.

The Present: Research and Development
The transition to the present allows you to discover the facilities used for winemaking, the vines, but also the research and environmental protection initiatives implemented by the Research & Development department of Maison Bernard Magrez, including the presence of a collection of 84 grape varieties to identify foreign or French or non-Bordeaux grape varieties that could adapt to the region and allow the continued vinification of Bordeaux wine depending on the extent of the consequences of global warming.

The Future: The La Tour Carnet 2050 vintage
The “Vintage 2050” project is then presented as well as a visit to the cellars dedicated to this initiative.

Finally, a blind tasting is then organized to give the opportunity to taste single varietal wines like Carmenere, Malbec, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah, and to compare them to the current Château La Tour Carnet.
Duration: 2 hours, through prior reservation.
